As the title suggests, this thirty-four minute featurette has Waters, Turner and Stole sitting down to have a conversation about the making of SERIAL MOM. I’m not a huge fan of that movie but Waters is always great to listen to and this here is excellent. It really doesn’t matter how you feel about the film because there’s non-stop talk throughout the running time and we get some terrific conversations about this movie but also others in the Waters filmography. This includes his thoughts on working outside the system as well as doing his Hollywood movies in CRY BABY and this film. Waters starts off the conversation by stating SERIAL MOM is his favorite movie, which is something I’m sure most fans will disagree with. He talks about the difference between working with someone like Divine and going after Hollywood talent like Turner and Depp. He also talks about a certain scene that Sam Waterston had an issue with. Fans of Waters are certainly going to love this conversation as it’s a blast from the start until the end.
