  1. For 20 years I used this video in teaching Earth Science. This is by far the best video on the subject of the oceans I ever saw. “Almost, childlike,” it presents concepts and information in delightfully and deliciously entertaining and memorable formats including actual movie clips and colorfully animated clips. My students always enjoyed its’ content, and remembered the information. Yes, it is old, animated, and designed for entertainment as well as education. Yet, just about all of it is still 100% accurate. If you are an educator, from higher level graduate courses right down to elementary school, your students will learn a lot from this great video, or at the least make information they may already have been exposed to much more memorable, and understandable. And isn’t that what we teacher / professors are after. (If I do say so, my students routinely score ‘highest’ on assessments, due in part, to this masterful educational video.)
