ANDY WARHOL VELVET UNDERGROUND 1967 BOSTON TEA PARTY 16MM COLOR ARTHOUSE DVD-R!

$11.99

The Velvet Underground (John Cale Lineup) performs live at the Boston Tea Party in 1967. This is the only known surviving color footage of the band in their prime. The show includes fan favorites such as “Heroin” and “Sister Ray,” and was filmed by Andy Warhol.

BUT! THIS IS NOT REALLY A “CONCERT FILM”!  which is to say its more of a historic “art film”. shot by Andy Warhol on 16mm, the sound is just blown out. i guess it was really loud in there.  i found the actual songs to be unintelligible, while the camera effects and the psychedelic visuals are so enchanting!

color, mono, fullscreen, DVD-R comes packaged as shown in color DVD case, wrapped in plastic.
